Choosing an Image
Selecting the right image for your Acrovyn by Design project is essential, not only for the interior design of your space, but for a number of practical reasons.
To ensure optimum output quality, we recommend checking the image quality at full size before placing an order with us.
Vector file formats (Images composed of objects (lines) that do not lose quality when resizing) are infinitely scalable, and will produce high quality results, regardless of the final output size.
Photographs from a camera or scanner and images composed of individual pixels can lose quality when resized.
Viewing Distances
When supplying bitmap images, you need to consider how the viewer will be interacting with the artwork. Images seen from a longer distance can be output at a lower resolution, measured in ppi (pixels per inch).
Note: Scaling up or re-sampling your images to meet the ppi requirements does not help the picture quality.
Where both vector or bitmap formats are available for your selected image, vector should always be used.

Artwork File Formats
We can work with a wide range of bitmap or vector image file formats, including: .AI, .EPS, .WFM, .TIF, .JPG, .PSD, RAW and press quality .PDF. If bitmap images contain layers, please flatten them before sending.
Copyright
CS respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we will only print your image if you are able to provide evidence that you have the right to reproduce it.
We therefore suggest thoroughly researching the origin and copyright status of any image that you intend to use for your Acrovyn by Design project, prior to placing your order with us.
We will require a signed Acrovyn by Design Copyright Agreement in order to avoid any unnecessary delays and potential copyright infringement claims.
Custom Colours
Acrovyn by Design can be printed with a solid colour, if required. However, due to the print process limitations, it is not always possible to exactly match Pantone colours. If colour matching is critical, samples will be provided for proofing before we proceed with printing.
Ordering Acrovyn by Design
Pricing:
A basic design of the wall area with relevant dimensions is required for us to provide you with an accurate indication of costs. Unless otherwise stated we will assume that designs are made up of panels cut to rectangular shapes and will be priced without any custom shaping. Shaping and custom cut outs will incur additional costs based on your design requirements.

Ordering:
At order stage we will also require:
An accurate wall elevation drawing, indicating image crop areas
A high resolution image/artwork supplied in the proper file format and resolution, as outlined in the ‘Choosing an Image’ section above
Note: The bleed area for Acrovyn by Design is 3mm on all sides, which should be taken into account when sizing the artwork, as cropping will occur.
Once we have received all the necessary drawings and images/artwork we will supply a PDF layout drawing for final approval.
